SOUTH WEST HEALTH CLUB SPREADS CHRISTMAS CHEER

December is a popular month for people to sign up for a gym membership and now one South West health club is offering even more of an incentive with a Christmas gift scheme for a local children’s hospice.

theclub at DoubleTree by Hilton, Cadbury House is encouraging people to sign up and donate a Christmas gift for a child at the Children’s Hospice South West in return for some staggering deals.

Those who donate a present to the cause will pay no joining fee to sign up to the award-winning club, receive a one-hour personal training session, be invited to bring three friends along for a free trial and be given a club voucher selection worth over £100.

Manager of theclub Jason Eaton said: “December is always a busy time for us as lots of people sign up to get in shape for the Christmas party season and prepare for the overindulgence the month brings!

“The perks we are offering with this deal will make a difference to our new members but more importantly we’ll be making sure the children at the hospice have a wonderful festive season. We have a very close relationship with the Children’s Hospice South West so we were keen to do something special for them this Christmas.”

Children’s Hospice South West cares for local children with life-limiting illnesses and their families. On their wish-list this Christmas is nail varnish sets, kid’s make-up sets, toys with lights, sounds or textures for younger children, balls or play equipment and messy craft materials.

Jason continued: “They do great work in our community so it would be fantastic for as many people as possible to sign up and support them. It would also be great if our existing members could donate presents, the more the merrier!”

One of the largest independent health clubs in the UK, facilities at the award-winning club include state-of-the-art gym, 20 metre pool, spa, salon and bistro.
